Simplicity in Complexity

There are no subtitles, no breaks, unlike a still frame, life is constantly moving, changing. World is a complicated, complex place.

As a photographer, try to look for more than what meets the eye, look for more elements that qualify or transform an image. Try to capture multiple states, multiple situations and multiple moments that co-exist, pushing against and qualifying one another.

In a photograph, just don’t show, “this exists”. As a photographer you need to show how things co-exist.

Always look for something more.

Don’t just try to show this, this and this exists separately.

Show how they exist as a whole. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

As a photographer an important thing to also remember is, The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Which means, the interaction of elements that when combined produce a total effect that is greater than the sum of the individual elements, contributions.

The more there is for the viewer to discover, the more time they will spend with your photographs, the more memories will be created.
