Rohit Vohra is a street and travel photographer, educator, and Editor-in-Chief of APF Magazine. Rohit has garnered recognition for his distinctive approach to street photography. He is a Brand ambassador, Leica Camera and a Leica Akademie Mentor. He holds a BFA from the College of Arts, Delhi, which he received in 1997, and has been passionately photographing for over 27 years.
As one of Asia’s most prominent street photographers, Rohit’s work has been featured in numerous newspapers and magazines worldwide. He also served as the director of photography for Apple’s Cricket World Cup campaign, further cementing his influence in the photography world.
Street photography is his specialty, a genre he believes to be one of the purest and most challenging forms of photography. Rohit is drawn to the unpredictability, the challenge, and the joy of capturing the perfect moment where light, texture, and elements converge in harmony. His photographs often explore the human condition and the fundamental aspects of life, offering a unique perspective on the world.
In 2017, Rohit was ranked No. 1 in the top 20 most influential street photographers by Street Hunters. He is also a respected judge on the panel of some of the world’s top photography awards, including IPA, PX3, SIPA, MIFA, Budapest Foto Awards, and Tokyo International Foto Awards.
Rohit conducts workshops and one-on-one sessions around the world, sharing his expertise and passion for street photography with aspiring photographers globally.
